The RSL offers an exciting programme of monthly events, including lectures, debates and poetry readings. Recent speakers have included Philip Pullman, George Steiner, Hilary Mantel and Seamus Heaney.  Our Autumn programme will include Marilynne Robinson, Michael Morpurgo, Romesh Gunesekera, Margaret Atwood, Michael Holroyd, Sarah Waters and Susan Hill.  The full programme will be available online by the end of July.

Fellows and Members are invited to attend any of these meetings.  Due to the increasing popularity of events, members' guests are asked to contribute £5.  Seating is limited, so we would advise arriving as early as possible.  Doors open at 6pm.

Members of the public are also welcome to attend, and there will be up to 30 tickets for non-members on the door at each event, which will be sold on a first-come-first-served basis from 6pm. We suggest a contribution of £7 (£5 concessions). All meetings will begin punctually at 7pm, and are held in the Kenneth Clark Lecture Theatre, Courtauld Institute, Somerset House, Strand, WC2, unless otherwise stated. Events are increasingly popular, and the only way to guarantee a seat is to become a member.

We are delighted to announce Foyles as our official bookseller.  They will be selling books at all of our events.
